Shh!

I really really just want this tray.
Inspired by the glittering, prohibition era 1920's when drinking was a thing only lawbreakers did.
I'll take the real McCoy, please.
Speakeasy Tray- Pottery Barn, $50

P.S. Easter is almost here, therefore I caved and bought a bag of Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs. Did you know that those cups we've come to know and love were for sale in 1923?

True story.

Aye Want That!

Happy almost St. Patrick's Day! Even though the actual origins of the holiday have nothing to do with... well, never mind about that. Being Irish is possibly the greatest thing ever. That said, I want these. :)

Designer Legs & Faces and Whatnot...

Ok, so I came across this brilliant site thanks to a brilliant friend, and I had to share.
They're awesome... and way cheaper than your $20 Venus 4 Pack, right?
I signed up for the $6 shave. Tell your significant other and your mother! Use this link and I get a free month. You can too once you sign up! (They'll give you a special code). Use it. Love it. Share it. Brilliant. ;)

Weekly "I Want That" ~ and a mini lesson.

These chairs are close to the most comfortable chairs I have ever relaxed in.
Cassina Reproduction Furniture
Seriously.
I want one.
I first happened upon this chair design in the "relaxing room" of the spa at the Four Seasons Resort in Carlesbad, CA. I thought the design was a Jean Michel Frank. He was the one who designed the club chair as we know it:
Jean Michel Frank Club Chair
Which I actually also adore. But these, with the metal frame and delicious cushions on all sides, were a little different. Upon further inspection, Le Corbusier was the mastermind behind this "LC2" chair. (He named all his furniture in this way and interestingly collaborated with many other Bauhaus school architects and designers to produce his famous pieces.) First designed in 1928, I found the dealer, Cassina, who makes authentic Le Corbusier reproduction furniture. You can't buy them online, instead you have to call for a brochure, so I'm sure it's a pretty ridiculous penny.
I want this one:
*sigh*
Makes me want to sprawl across an afternoon with an F. Scott Fitzgerald book and an open window.
Maybe I'll win the next Fantasy 5 line in the lottery, or I could just get really good with a sewing machine and a welder.. :)
